Game Recap - Cubs Get the W

Great work by the Cubs

We got the W tonight. It was a bit of a slower moving game tonight as we only got 3 innnings completed before the game was claled due to lightening. 

We had our bats going tonight, defense was strong again, and our pitchers battled. It was another fun game. 

Player of the game tonight was.... Connor Davis! Connor hit a booming triple down the right field line which was close to being an inside the park homerun but he was held as he rounded 3rd base! He did all this with a sore thumb as he couldnt play the field tonight but what was one of the most impressive things was him cheering on his teammates from the bench.

After the game the players talked about what they learned from that game. We talked about respecting the other team either talking about scores and RBI chants. 

Proud of all of our players once again!
